BIO: GLENN JOST
Buffalo, New York Southpaw drummer Glenn Jost started performing in local bars at the age of 15 before relentlessly touring the Northeast playing pop covers seven nights a week.
Moving to New York City in pursuit of a recording contract, he played the East Village gothic club scene with 'The Nightmares' and speed metal Goddess 'The Great Kat'. He also recorded many sessions for others until his own album entitled 'ReLoVe' led him to the popular touring act 'Second Sight' out of Orlando, Florida. There he shared the stage or jammed with the likes of Bonham, Pat Travers, LA Guns, Otis Knight, Dread Zeppelin, etc.
Thousands of gigs, recordings, big dreams, and broken sticks brought him to LA with highlights including performances at the Playboy Jazz Festival, USAF tour of Greenland, 'Gigolettes'on KTLA channel 5, lounge drummer on 'Alley McBeal' Fox channel 11, Member of Cowboy-Western act 'The Horse Soldiers' (GNP Crescendo/Sony) Contributed track for ‘Cowboy Christmas’ (Scotti Bros./WEA) and played with the original Broadway hit 'DreamGirls'.
Glenn recorded 2 albums with Laura Hall from the TV comedy 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' performed with the 'Improv Allstars' at the famous Alex Theatre backing the comedic vocals of actor 'Robin Williams', before finally hooking up with the uniquely-talented David Victor bringing to life PLATINUM ROCKSTARS.
