BIO: AL ESTRADA
A Southern California native, PLATINUM ROCKSTARS’ “secret weapon” is lead guitarist Al Estrada. Al began playing guitar at the age of 10 and went on to play in original bands up and down the Sunset Strip as well as many cover bands.
Al was the founder of the Van Halen tribute band ERUPTION, and has been successful in the tribute band arena playing all across the United States.
Al was featured in Guitar Player magazine spotlight column and even won Guitar Player’s Ultimate Guitar Competition in the ‘Rock’ category!
Al has recorded and produced three original instrumental CDs and is currently signed to Grooveyard Records. Al is endorsed by Suhr Guitars, Splawn Amplification and Seymour Duncan Pickups.
