Oleg Ginzburg – Keyboards

OLEG GINZBURG was born in Russia in 1976. From 1983 to 1990 he was taking piano and music theory lessons. From the age of 13 he began to write pop songs. In 1992 an American professor Richard Arthur invited Oleg to come to the USA to study music professionally. In 1993 Oleg Ginzburg was accepted into the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. There he completed a full four year program, majoring in piano performance on an academic excellence scholarship.

After college Oleg kept himself busy with numerous solo and band projects. They included releasing seven solo albums, and many live performances with Connecticut based bands. The biggest achievement of Oleg’s East Coast musical experience was the five shows of an off-Broadway production of the original rock opera “Death of an Angel” in 2003 in New York , which Oleg co-wrote with his band EDEN ’S GATE.

In 2004 Oleg Ginzburg moved to Los Angeles , California , and immediately got involved with a number of bands. Being such a versatile keyboard player and songwriter, Oleg had success in the Hollywood music scene, and also working as a piano teacher. Among those projects were EAST OF FAIRFAX, where Oleg wrote all the music, TAMING INGRID – an Orange County based band, and finally – THE KINGS OF THE WILD FRONTIER. With the latter Oleg performed in some of the most famous clubs in Hollywood , such as The House Of Blues, The Key Club, The Roxy and The Joint. The band had also played in Las Vegas and San Diego .

Recently Oleg Ginzburg began work on a new album that he wrote all the material for. The style will be a blend of dance, rock, pop, electronica, trance and r&b
