Platinum Rockstars as Van Halen will appear at the 2010 Taste Of Anaheim

The Platinum Rockstars Classic Rock Superstar Show will rock the 2010 Taste Of Anaheim on Thursday, May 13th at 7:15pm. This will be the show’s second visit to the OC in 2010 and their first appearance at this prestigious foodie event.

This show will also mark the debut of our exciting new mystery cast member. We can’t give away too much about our new friend but we like to call him the Game Changer. Witness the awesome spectacle that is PRS 2010 and there will be no doubt as to what act is the hottest ticket in Southern California for clubs, festivals and corporate entertainment.

Platinum Rockstars at NASCAR, Las Vegas, February 2010

Great racing and great 70s and 80s classic rock ‘n roll were on tap at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the Platinum Rockstars Classic Rock Superstar Show made its NASCAR debut at the Shelby 300 on Saturday, February 27th.

The Platinum Rockstars performed three blazing sets of classic rock at the Neon Garage showcase stage over the course of the day. The first set featured tributes to Led Zeppelin and Boston and started at 10:00 AM (yes, we mean in the morning! These racers get up early.)

Despite the cold a great time was had by all in attendance! Thanks to Bruce, Steve, our “road crew” of Carrin and Nicole, and NASCAR for making this event one to remember!

The Platinum Rockstars rolled into the San Diego area on Saturday, February 20th at the Belly Up Tavern in beautiful Solana Beach, CA. This show was their first back in the San Diego area since October 2009 and was an amazing success, with 450+ attending at the band’s first visit to the Belly Up.

The Belly Up is a beautiful live music venue and plenty of live music was on tap with Damn The Torpedoes, an amazing Tom Petty tribute act kicking off the show. DJ Man Cat kept the night interesting with the Jaegermeister Girls taking the stage between the Platinum Rockstars sets.

Our thanks to Beau and the whole staff at the Belly Up for helping us make the Platinum Rockstars debut there an amazing success!

Platinum Rockstars appeared at the Anaheim House Of Blues at the JACK-FM postgame extravaganza on Sunday, February 7th, immediately following the game.

Our good friend Mr. Chuck Wright, platinum rock star in his own right (Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper, House Of Lords) as well as Platinum Rockstars’ own Al Estrada were once again displaying their amazing musical chops in the greatest classic rock superstar show in LA!

PRS at The Grove of Anaheim

The Platinum Rockstars roadshow made their first appearance in 2010 at the Grove of Anaheim on Saturday, January 23rd. This “sneak preview” Platinum Rockstars show featured three acts in 50 (yes, 5-0!) minutes: Led Zeppelin, Boston and Van Halen. That’s a lot of rock ‘n roll to fit in such a tiny space, but the boys came with their guns loaded! This show also marked the debut of certified platinum rockstar Chuck Wright on bass.

Just in time for the New Year, bassist extraordinaire and certified platinum rockstar Chuck Wright will join forces with the “Platinum Rockstars” classic rock superstar show. Chuck is most known for his work in the Mega-Platinum band Quiet Riot, as well as Giuffria and his band House of Lords. His reputation as one of the most accomplished bass players in Rock also landed him working with such legendary music icons as Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, Slash, Gregg Allman and others. Chuck will provide a powerful new punch to the PRS roadshow.

In addition, the Platinum Rockstars Show is being revamped for 2010 and will be presenting an incredible new lineup of classic rock hits from Led Zeppelin, Boston, Van Halen, Journey, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi. Platinum Rockstars as Journey

Join the Platinum Rockstars as they rock Los Angeles’ Pershing Square Downtown On Ice rink on a balmy LA winter’s night! This will be the last show in 2009 for the Platinum Rockstars and if that’s not enough to convince you to check in, this is also the 12th Season for Downtown On Ice Outdoor Skating Rink at Pershing Square.

The show itself is FREE and the Ice Skating has a low admission price of only $6 (+skate rental $2), it’s the coolest way to add a little winter chill to the holidays without spending a lot of money.
